The Maeng family, from South Korea, have been living in New Brunswick and running a store for 8 years. When they tried to apply for permanent resident status, they were refused. Canadian immigration initially told them they'd have to leave the country by the end of June.

A Los Angeles judge has cut part of the monetary award to the family of an autistic man killed by police.

Mohammed Chaudhry, 21, was shot and killed by an LAPD cop in 2008.  The cop alleged Chaudhry had attacked him.  However, earlier this year, a court ruled that the cop used "excessive force" and was not justified in shooting Chaudhry.

A UK couple is reportedly being denied immigration to Canada because of one's autistic son.
